Yesterday I took a quick trip into NYC for some music. While I was there, I tried my hand at some ninja-cam….aka, used the cell phone for some photos instead of whipping out the DSLR.
My original intention was to try a new HDR app I had downloaded two weeks ago (and had yet to open!) but in true Creative fashion, I got sidetracked. haha
These images – that I’ve decided to label “TravelGrams” – were taken with my cell phone, processed with the default camera program and uploaded to Instagram. Since I’m sharing some love, I’ve thrown in one bonus TravelGram from my trip a few weeks back to Toronto.
I’m planning to go back to NYC next week, so if you guys like these, let me know and I’ll see if I can’t put some more together for you! =)
Happy Sunday, friends!
Reblogged this on Conceptual Art.
Thanks for the share, Muse! =)
I love them! Keep it up!
I’ll see what I can do on Thursday. haha
anxiously awaiting . . .
Nice photos–each one evokes the feeling if travel
Thank you, Jake. =) When I think of NYC, I think of people being constantly moving, getting from one place to another, rush rush rush…I wanted to capture a little of that idea in the images.
Well, I can tell you I don’t miss the subways. Your photos bring it all back without gloss or glitter. Keep it up. Love ’em!
haha Yup, just over crowding, germs and poor lighting. I doubt most people go there for the subways. Good thing NYC has a few things to offer besides transit. haha 😉
Love these. I use hipstamatic on my iPhone more than anything else. Even with thousands in gear around my neck, I still reach for my iPhone more often than not.
Sometimes it’s just more convenient! My cell phone photo quality is obviously not as good, but for inconspicuous snaps, it’s what I go to as well. =)
