In 2010 I signed up for a great, fun, worldwide photographer’s project that centered around a bear named Frimpong. The point was for the photographer to “host” Frimmy during his international travels and chronicle his trip.
It seemed obvious that Frimpong would want to see the sites…the things that your area is known for…so the expectation would be to have uber tourist photos.
The project was a ton of fun, and when ever I think of the Fall, I now also think of Frimmy. Participating in the project was an excuse for me to go to each state in New England and do what I love, take photos. In honor of The Frim-ster, I figured I would share a little of our adventure here. For a full look at his time with me, go here. =)
Happy Friday, friends!
Cute photos! I’ve done something like this twice -once with a stuffed Mickey Mouse and once with a bear. The bear was for a promotion at work to celebrate an anniversary of an event. The Mickey Mouse was our niece’s stuffed toy. We took her on a trip to Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown and took photos of Mickey enjoying the trip. We then made a special scrapbook just of Mickey’s adventures.
Aww, that sounds like it made some great memories for you! This really was a ton of fun, I’m glad you got to experience something along the same lines. =)

haha Thanks, it really was a lot of fun!
Great pics, love it!
Thanks!
Yep a good post…
Thanks! It seemed fall-appropriate. =)
Really great photography, you’ve captured so much character! Brilliant works.
Aww, thanks! Not quite portrait work, but it was fun. 😉
Love it! This is a common thing done among teachers of infants and young primary grades. A teacher will take the school bear on their trip and take photos etc and talk about the bear’s trip with the kids. The kids love it. I have a teddy bear passport for one of my many bears but have not used it yet…
Sounds like you should! =)
I really love it. It reminds me the movie “Amelie” with the gargen gnome. I wish I could hug him!
haha Believe me, he got lots of hugs while he was visiting. My niece loved having him around!
Adorable! Love the first one with him looking off in the distance, very sweet.:)
Thank you!!
Bear in leaves…THE CUTEST!
