Finally, we get to share another one of our secret projects with the world! David and I collaborated on a few surreal portraits this October. This is the first one, and a bit of the thought process that went into creating it. We had a blast doing it. David is a photoshop wiz! If you haven’t checked out his work, now is the time. 😉

Shannon and I have been talking about having her model for me for, oh I don’t know, a couple of years now. Usually, we’re so caught up shooting the amazing landscapes we visit together, that we totally forget to create some portraits. Plus, we live thousands of miles apart, which makes it tough to do a shoot.

Well, this time, we finally managed to remember to do some portraits. I think its because we had 2 weekends together in October. Naturally, we forgot on the first one, so we made an extra effort to remember for the second. I also think it helped that Shannon went out and bought a dress, and a lantern, from goodwill. With money invested, we sure as hell weren’t going to forget again.
