Surrender :: RI

With all of the work that has been going into the promoting the new book, workshops, another upcoming magazine article (etc, etc…), I haven’t had much time to actually shoot some images for me.  So, after a full day of work last week, I decided I needed some camera time.  I hopped in the car and took off for Rhode Island, where they have some fabulous rocky coastline that just begs for attention. 🙂

Hope you enjoy!  Feel free to share!

xoxo

    The best reason to take photos…

      When you get the itch to take photos, you just have to scratch it! Lol

    Very nice! I always appreciate your gentle touch with the landscape. Keep up the good work.

    Nice. I hope to do justice to the Acadia coastline later on. Never been to R.I for photography. Guess I should.

      Both are lovely! Acadia has a rugged, wild feel to it that is so much fun to capture. RI is a bit tame by comparison, but beautiful nonetheless. 🙂

        Rugged for sure. But also quite varied with so many different habitats. We’ve been going there since 1984 and I have yet to tire of it. Always something new. But RI is much closer. And your image makes me want to visit. 🙂

        Well, if you make it, I want to see what images you put together. 🙂

    Absolutely beautiful! The only thing I can remember about running through RI, is all the crazy tolls I had to pay! LOL! Your photos are insane! Love them! Thank you for sharing! I really need to upgrade from my small point-n-shoot camera, ya think??

      Lol upgrade when you’re ready. Knowing the concepts behind photography is more important than the gear. There is a vast difference between a thoughtful image and a quick snap, and those differences are not the tools used to make it. 🙂

    Reason to live–no doubt!

      It certainly enriches our lives, and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to do something I love. 🙂
