We offer three types of prints through our online store: photo paper prints (no mat or frame), canvas or metal. These prints are shipped right to your door, within the United States only.
Special sizes, local pick-up, matted images, custom crops, different paper or canvas options, international purchases, etc can be arranged by contacting us directly at info@seeingspotsphoto.com.
Photo print images are printed on high quality Lustre Kodak Endura Professional Papers, a semi-gloss paper with vibrant colors, unless otherwise specified.
Canvas gallery wraps are 1 1/2 inch depth wrapped around a poplar frame with sawtooth hangers, without a protective laminate, unless otherwise specifed.
Metal prints are created using a dye sublimation process, with images printed directly onto high quality aluminum for a clean and lasting finish. Metal prints come with a metal bracket to hang the image.
Cropping Notes
The majority of the images in my portfolio do well with a 2:3 ratio crop. The 2:3 crop is the shape of a 4×6 print. If you are choosing an image that is not a 2:3 ratio, or have any questions at all, please contact us before you buy so we can help you choose the best option for your print.
Sizes labeled as “Standard” in the store will fit into common sized mats and frames. These frames and mats are available at most national art supply stores. Unfortunately, these standard sizes are not necessarily the same shape as the 2:3 ratio and often the image will need to be cropped slightly.
Sizes labeled “non-standard” in the store are for 2:3 ratio prints. These sizes, however, do not fit into standard frames and require custom matting and/or framing.
Panoramic images are twice as wide as they are tall. There will be significant cropping on most images.
Square images also require significant cropping.
