Two days ago, I explained to my partner how landscape photographers often put together collections of images with a shared theme: all photos from a bayou in autumn, or of macro mosses, or whatever. I said, I have a few shots from ponds and lakes with monochrome small scenes, like lily pads floating on the surface or grasses (this) sticking up from the water.

Me, snickering at my cleverness: You know what I could call the collection?
Him: What?
Me: We all float down here.
Him: *blank stare*
Me: Like the movie IT?
Him: *another blank stare*
Me: You know, with the clown in the sewer? The red balloon? We all float?
Him: I never saw–
Me, in creepy clown voice: WE ALL FLOAT DOWN HERE!

Him: Never saw… IT.

Turn out he’s pretty damn clever, too. lol

Anyway, here are some ripples and grasses from my recent trip up north!
